i think you're both right, werenski's value is way too high for any avg return unless we're willing to take on some serious salary cap issues man cant let him go for scraps

man cant let him go for scraps agree werenski's value is too high and we need more than just some picks and prospects back ngl it'd be a huge mistake if they pull the trigger on this trade

imo would've rather seen werenski on the blue jackets if they were gonna trade him lol, maybe we couldve gotten something out of our own system tbh

ngl werenski's contract isnt even that bad imo we gotta remember he's still only 27 and has a ton of years left man

ngl werenski's contract does look pretty decent for a dman his age but we still gotta think about what our team needs and if werenski's gonna help us get there or just stay in the same spot man

idk if werenski will help us get there tbh he's still a top pairing dman and you cant replace that easily man

ngl i think you're spot on imo werenski's a big piece of our dcore but we gotta look at the bigger picture and see how he fits into that tbh @BlueJackets9 knows how hard it is to replace top pairing D so yeah, not easy decisions to make

i feel ya about the cap situation man werenski's salary is a big part of it, gotta weigh that against his trade value imo @greg_bluejackets always says we need to get creative with deals like this but i dont know man

yeah, getting creative with deals like werenski would be tough, that's for sure man. i think greg has a point tho, we gotta do something to make the cap work @BlueJackets9
