I've been hearing some folks talking about a teardown and I just don't see it kid. They're building around Larkin and I think they've got some good young guys like Mertz, Leddy, and Gallant on the way. The fact that they passed on trading Cossa after he won the Calder Cup is a big vote of confidence in their prospects.
@GordieHoweElbows, I'd agree that passing on trading Larkin made sense given his underlying numbers last season were still very strong. Now we just need to see some of those younger guys like Mertz and Leddy take the next step and provide a significant boost in high-danger chances.

I've been saying this for months, we've got a legitimate top-six player in Larkin and I think we're making some smart moves with our young guys like Mertz, even his AHL numbers last year were impressive. @Oldtimer33's been on the same page as me on this, worth noting.
