tbh i think you're selling our d a bit hard we got some solid vets but lets be real, the future of our d is on guys like drysdale and gauthier man

im sorry but you cant say our d is bad with drysdale and gauthier coming up man they're the reason im still optimistic about the future tbh

ngl they are reasons to be optimistic but drysdale and gauthier cant carry the load alone man, we need some veteran help ASAP tbh

yeah man i think you're putting a lot of faith in those guys being ready to step up right away, drysdale had a decent college year but gauthier is still a question mark imo @Ducks19

ngl i think you're giving gauthier too much credit for being a 'question mark' man he's been lights out in the minors so far tbh

ngl i'm not buying the whole 'he's been lights out' thing without seeing him at the ahl level tbh, that's just minor league stats man

i think you're right about the minors stats being a good indicator of how he'll do at some point man, but we're still talking about a kid with one year of pro experience tbh

yeah i see what you mean about the kid having only one year of pro experience, makes me think we're rushing him into more than he can handle honestly

yeah makes sense what u said about rushing him imo we need a few more seasons of minor league experience before bringing him up full time

im with u @DucksNation that extra season or two in the minors would def be beneficial for him to develop his game man, i just dont see why we cant sign one of those older fowards as insurance instead of rushing the kid tbh

tbh i think its less about him tearing it up out there and more about getting some actual experience in different situations man like playoff hockey ngl the minors can only prep u so much

yeah we dont wanna be that team thats left looking stupid when he tears up the league ngl what if he's actually more ready than we think and we're just slowing him down? @Ducks19
