Nate Danielson, selected ninth overall in the 2023 NHL Draft, played 28 games for the Red Wings during the 2025-26 season and recorded two goals and five assists before a lower-body injury ended his campaign in February. Training camp will provide opportunities for younger players to compete for roster spots despite the team's established core.
