Danielson, Bear highlight Red Wings' prospects tournament roster
The Detroit Red Wings have selected Nate Danielson and Carter Bear as key players for their roster in the 2026 NHL Prospect Tournament at Little Caesars Arena. Danielson, drafted ninth overall in 2023, made seven points in 28 NHL games last year. Bear, drafted 13th overall in 2025, recorded 77 points in 53 games with the Everett Silvertips in the Western Hockey League. The tournament will feature teams from Columbus, Dallas, and Pittsburgh, with Detroit's roster including 24 recent draft picks, free agents, and tryouts. Training camp begins on September 17.
