Macklin Celebrini, a 20-year-old center for the San Jose Sharks, scored 115 points (45 goals, 70 assists) in 80 games last season, following a 63-point (25 goals, 38 assists) rookie campaign. The Sharks improved 34 points from the previous season, finishing 39-35-8 (86 points) and placing fifth in the Pacific Division. Celebrini is described as a generational talent who helps San Jose build into a contender and may be the second-highest-paid player in the NHL after Cale Makar.
