Dylan Larkin may be stripped of his Detroit Red Wings captaincy due to his trade request at the end of last season. Analyst Shayna Goldman argues Larkin should retain his leadership role and that the new general manager might keep him as captain until the situation is resolved. The Red Wings named Larkin the 37th captain in franchise history in 2021 after two seasons without a captain.
