@DetroitTom I'm not sure what's more surprising - that we lost Kane or that people expected him to re-sign after averaging 1.8 shots on goal per game in the playoffs last year.

I'm sure fans are shocked by this one. Expected to re-sign with the Wings after a strong 2025-26 campaign, Kane instead is headed back to his old stomping grounds in Chicago. Shouldn't have gotten too comfortable at Little Caesar's Arena.
