Former Red Wings Troy Stecher and Calle Jarnkrok both played together for the Toronto Maple Leafs last season for the first time in their NHL careers. This season, Stecher remains with the Maple Leafs while Jarnkrok signed with Brynäs in Sweden's SHL. Jarnkrok was drafted by Detroit in 2010 and spent time with the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins before being traded to Nashville in 2014.
