Max Osgood, son of NHL goalie Chris Osgood, was drafted by the Medicine Hat Tigers as a forward in the first round of the WHL draft. The 15-year-old will not play for the Tigers this season but will participate in their training camp and play for the South Alberta Hockey Academy's U18 team. He previously played for the Little Caesars 14U AAA team, scoring 15 goals and 28 assists for 43 points in 20 games last season.
