Red Wings miss the playoffs for a 10th straight year despite 92 points

imo it's still a step up from last year tbh

I'd say that's still low bar-setting if you ask me, we're supposed to be grateful for the faint glimmer of improvement when the goal should be to be relevant in April.

i dont get why youre expectin us to be playoff bound after a rebuild like this it takes time and were just startin to see results now maybe next year

I think @SaturdayNightSuze has a more realistic perspective on this season, 92 points might not be impressive by usual Red Wings standards, but given where the team was, it's a decent step forward and something to build on for next year.

ngl detroit tom's got a good point, 92 points is a decent step forward but honestly we still need some of these young guys like larkin and mantha to break out more ngl their production has been pretty middling so far

yep i agre with griffinsgabe we need more from those top six and especialy mantha he's got the tools but hes been kinda meh so far this season @doug_g your comment about us just startin to see results now is exactly what ppl dont get its a process

i dont know man, startin to see results now feels like a bit of an exaggeration tbh theyre still 10 points out of the playoffs and we all know how that works
