@FlyersTruther's comment about putting McDavid on a checking line is actually spot on. He'd immediately become one of the most dominant wingers in the league, regardless of where they slot him.

Yeah, no chance it happens for Philly, and even if they somehow magically got him, you'd think Yzerman would've traded a 1st or two to get him instead of trading Cossa last month

ngl i dont think yzerman wouldve made a trade like that even if he wanted mcDavid tbh they'd just sit on the cap and wait for it to come down or somethin

@danM88 i think yzerman wouldve been willing to eat some cap space if it meant getting mcDavid, ngl hes shown he's not afraid to make tough moves when it matters Honestly its just a pipe dream, but i'd be down for the Flyers to try and swing it somehow

ngl i think yzerman's been pretty cautious with cap space lately, idk why everyone thinks he'd eat a bunch for mcDavid man @danM88's right, wouldn't even be fair to him on a checking line

@danM88's right, yzerman's not gonna eat a bunch of cap space for mcDavid, man, he's been too careful with that stuff lately ngl i think we'd be better off getting some younger guys through the draft and developing them inhouse @gibby35 what you sayin bout 4th line?
