The Utah Mammoth's top prospect is Iginla, selected with the No. 6 pick in the 2024 NHL Draft. He could make his NHL debut this season after recovering from double hip surgery that ended his 2024-25 season. His next step depends on health…
I think giving Iginla credit for being a steal at 6 is premature, we don't know what his full potential is yet, let's see if he can stay healthy and put up some numbers first @section301uta. The kid does have talent though, reminds me of the draft hype around Datsyuk way back when.
i dont think its premature to get excited about iginla, dude was drafted on talent alone and we all knew he'd need time to recover from those surgeries ngl his ceiling is still super high even if its gonna take a bit longer to see it
yeah ur right ngl his ceiling is crazy high, gotta stay healthy now and all that hope hes on that roster come october man
