idk man i feel like hornqvist's upside is way down after last season tbh his play dropped off a cliff

@nick_goldenknights told me hornqvist's play dropped off a lot last season and i gotta agree with him, 3.5ish AAV seems way too rich for what he brought to the table

@nick_goldenknights i feel like everyone's being too soft on him, he had some decent games last season tbh, just dont think he brings enough speed for our top 6 honestly

@GoldenKnights71 imo his speed is what's made him valuable for years, if he can't keep that up then 2nd line minutes arent gonna cut it man

tbh i think everyone's being too optimistic about his speed, i mean we're comparing him to what he was 5 yrs ago honestly man @GoldenKnights71

ngl i think we're all forgetting that hornqvist is a system player and will adjust to whatever vegas throws at him @nick_goldenknights can attest to his work ethic and adaptability man

ngl i know cap's a concern but honestly we're already top-heavy, can't hurt to take on a vet like hornqvist if he wants to come help the boys @nick_goldenknights probably has some insight into how this'd all play out man

@GoldenKnights4Life i think u're right about taking on vet like hornqvist but we gotta be careful not to overpay man, and honestly don't u think we've already got enough guys who can speak up for themselves in the room @GoldenKnights71 always talks about Hornqvist's work ethic

@section301vgk dont know man, we definitely have some outspoken guys on the team but hornqvist's got that gravitas that wouldnt go unnoticed tbh, and idk if you can put a price on that kinda presence in the room

we cant afford to take on more vet salary when we could be tanking for that 5th overall pick imo honestly think we should just roll with what we got and see how the youth develop @section301vgk

tbh i think pacio and patty bring that leader vibe without taking on a ton of cap hit, but our d def needs work before the playoffs man
