The Detroit Red Wings have not named a replacement for Jerry Yzerman as general manager more than six weeks after his departure. Several candidates have been mentioned including Brett Peterson, Jeff Kealty, Scott White, and Jeff Greenberg. Training camp begins September 17 with unresolved hockey operations leadership matters.
