I think we're all waiting with bated breath for some real news from Montreal. Reminds me of the Ted Lindsay days when there was genuine uncertainty surrounding our beloved franchise. @Canadiens9's right about Larkin's value, of course - that man has given so much to the team, it'd be hard to let him go.

tbh oldtimer's got a point tho, it does feel like we're stuck in some kinda nostalgia loop, waiting for the same old days of ted lindsay and all that man, still think our rebuild should be more of a rebuild ngl, not just throwing buzzwords around

ngl larkin's value is crazy but i still think we're selling our soul if we dont make a deal for someone like laine man. he'd be a huge upgrade over guys like suzhalskij imo

suze is actually been pretty decent imo, dont think we need a scoring upgrade like laine man, unless its for 4-5 years and not just rental help tbh

idk man thats some pretty rose-colored glasses on suze imo, i saw a lot of that last year too and it just fizzled out ngl we need someone who can actually put up points when it matters most
