Former Red Wings defensemen Luke Witkowski, now 36, has been playing in the Czech Extraliga and recently went viral for his physical play. He was drafted by Tampa Bay in 2008 and spent most of his NHL career in the AHL. Witkowski played 65 games with the Red Wings during the 2017-18 season and later served as captain of the Syracuse Crunch.
