ngl you're right man, cap space is a huge issue for the oilers and they gotta get it sorted out before anyone can even think about trading him but on the other hand if mc david's really looking for a move maybe they'll eat some of that salary @scott_flyers

I think it's more about McDavid wanting a Cup than being wooed by a "money dump" team though. I'd imagine the Oilers are trying to make some cap-friendly deals happen before re-engaging in talks with Connor.
