Alex DeBrincat will enter the final year of his current contract next season. Longtime Red Wings reporter Bob Duff stated that DeBrincat wants to remain with the team and values having his family nearby. The 28-year-old has produced career-best numbers this season with 41 goals, 44 assists, and 85 points.
