yup i thought guerin had a solution too, but looks like that one dman we re-signed last year for 6 yrs still has a few good yrs left and we cant get past 3 mil per man

I'm not sure "makin lemonade outta lemons" is an accurate assessment of what's been happening on the Wild's backend. It seems like more than just patchwork depth signings are needed to get them out of neutral - real talent and long-term solutions would be a better approach.

@nbrennan, Larkin's return was a great move, but let's not forget the Red Wings are still a mess and they basically tanked for him last year. It's one thing to get a star back, it's another to build around him.
