The Detroit Red Wings acquired forward Sutter Muzzatti from the Nashville Predators on August 20 in exchange for future considerations. Muzzatti, 23, signed a two-year entry-level contract and previously played the 2025-26 season at the University of Notre Dame. He was selected by the Predators in the fifth round (No. 143 overall) of the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
