Yvon Lambert underwent surgery for a fractured left femur and left hip after falling at a friend's home. The former Montreal Canadiens player, who won four consecutive Stanley Cups from 1976-79, was hospitalized at Lakeshore General Hospital in Montreal. Lambert is remembered for his durability and scored a memorable overtime goal in 1979.
