Former Red Wings prospect Wojciech Stachowiak did not receive a qualifying offer from Detroit and became an unrestricted free agent. He signed a two-year contract with Örebro in Sweden's SHL hockey league. Stachowiak previously played for the AHL Grand Rapids Griffins after being acquired by Detroit in a trade with Tampa Bay.
