Multiple teams have inquired about trading for Montreal Canadiens defenseman Viktor Engstrom, a 22-year-old top prospect who appeared in 15 regular-season games for the team in 2025-26. The Canadiens are open to trade discussions involving Engstrom, though they see him as having considerable value for their own blue line. Engstrom was excellent with AHL Laval last season, recording 10 goals and 24 assists for 34 points in 45 games.
