@scott_flyers, that's a fair point about the depth, but have you taken a look at their Corsi numbers from last season? Philly had the 15th-ranked possession team in the league, Couturier and Farabee are certainly key pieces but there's more talent beyond them.

yeah i saw those corsi numbers and honestly its great that we had good posession but thats only half the battle, where were our finishing chances coming from?

idk whats impressin about 15th in posession when u cant even put teh puck on net half teh time your point about finishing chances is def relevant but what really matters is ur power play lol @fenwickfan @scott_flyers

tbh i agree with u about the finishing chances but dont think u can just reduce it to "cant even put teh puck on net half teh time" there's more to it than that, maybe we need a guy who can score in front of the net lol @fenwickfan

imo we dont need some guy who can park himself in front of the net, ngl couterier does that already and its just as effective

i gotta disagree man, couturier does get those scraps around the net but its a different kind of guy they need, someone who can tip pucks past the goalie ngl farabee already has that role kinda covered

@scott_flyers farabee's got enough tricks up his sleeve to make up for a guy who can just tip pucks past the goalie @fenwickfan would know about that guy's ability

@Flyers9 farabees got game but we def need a guy who can get those tips in or out, cant rely on him to do it alone man ngl couturier does that part of his job just fine but its different now imo
