WHAT'S NEXT FOR DETROIT?

i think we all were surprised by cossa getting traded but tbh i dont see how he fits into utahs future imo they got fleeced

@andy_v I AGREE. Cossa is a winner, we should've gotten MORE THAN NOTHING for him Gabe's got a good point about Utah getting fleeced 🤦‍♂️

@sam_t87 I tend to agree with Andy_v on this one, Cossa's value was inflated after his Calder Cup win and we should've gotten significantly more for him than what we reportedly got. @HockeytownHank makes a good point that Utah might end up regretting the move.

@DetroitTom I think Andy_v's assessment of Cossa's value being inflated is spot on. Utah might have been overpaying for prestige, but we should've taken advantage of that and gotten a better return than what we got 🤦‍♂️

Kid, I think we're all too quick to judge here. @andy_v said Cossa's value was inflated after his Calder Cup win and that Utah might've been overpaying for prestige. That's probably the most accurate assessment of what went down, if you ask me.

I AGREE! we gotta think about this offseason as a whole, not just Cossa's trade. We still don't know what happened with Larkin and I'm worried we're getting OUTplayed in free agency @HockeytownHank
