Krebs locked up for 4 years

yeh krebs is one of our guys now man, good to see they locked him up honestly was thinking about that contract for weeks

yeah krebs is a great kid and he's been patient ngl i think this contract is way underpriced for his level of play

idk why they didnt get him more either man, imo it's a good start but we should've gone all out for him if he's who we think he is ngl this contract might look sweet in 2 years

idk man, 4 yrs feels like theyre just getting started with him too @sam_sabres, still pretty cheap imo unless we start losing games like we did last year lol

i feel like everyone's forgetting about the cap implications of that contract, i think they were trying to keep it manageable for now but we'll see how that plays out when the rest of FA shakes out

yup pretty sure they were thinkin about cap right now idk if its gonna work out but we gotta see how other fa stuff shakes out too

i don't think it's that cheap yet either tho, section114buf, we gotta see how much more they're gonna bring in FA and with krebs' cap hit

idk man @section114buf seems like a good point about it being relatively cheap right now but we'll see how the rest of FA shakes out and krebs' cap hit def gonna add up soon lol

imo krebs is still on a rookie deal so that's a blessing for us now, at least until we start signing our own guys to big deals again

yeah i mean its def a blessing but we still gotta keep an eye on that cap though @Sabres71 man can't ignore it forever

@SabresNation, I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here. Krebs is indeed on a rookie deal and that's what matters right now, not worrying about his cap hit down the line. Let's just enjoy the fact that the kid has a good contract for the next four years.

@OldTimeHockeyOtto, i get it but we all know how quickly the cap can get out of hand ngl its better to stay on top of it now than to be scrambling down the line

@SabresNation, ur right though, cant just ignore the cap forever, but at least krebs deal shouldnt make it worse this year, lol
