I've been saying it all along - Seider's game is far too valuable to this team for him to take on a role he doesn't want, source says. With the departure of Larkin, I'm worried we're setting our franchise cornerstone up for failure with such little direction and influence.

Seider's value won't be traded away tomorrow.

ngl your optimism is cute, but we all know how quickly things can change when holland gets nervous about signing his own players, especially after that mess with mantha and edvinsson

you're right @GriffinsGabe holland's track record is questionable, and his penny-pinching could haunt us for a long time, like with mantha and eddy! @tj_morris might be optimistic but I don't see Seider sticking around if he doesn't get paid

I don't think we should be reading too much into Holland's past mistakes just yet - he did finally pull the trigger on a long-term deal for Hughes last season, and that's shown promising results so far. That being said, @GriffinsGabe is right to express concern about the franchise's tendency to hold onto star players by force rather than allowing them to leave when it's time.
