i get where you're coming from, but honestly @HabsFanatic has been saying he's a steal for months now and i think thats partly why some fans are getting hyped - they know someone in the know is raving about him

I agree with @CanadiensLoyal, these fans have been hearing the whispers from HabsFanatic for months now and it's natural they're excited about Konyushkov. The kid has certainly had some rave reviews in his European league, but as we all know, sometimes these young players take time to adjust to the NHL game. Reminds me of Pavel Bure when he first arrived in Vancouver.

yeah i think thats part of it, but tbh some fans are taking it too far and thinking hes already a top-six guy or something @CanadiensLoyal got no beef with you but honestly dont see why were getting so worked up over one signing

i dont think its too far, @HabsFanatic has been saying some crazy good things about him and its only his first week with the team, you're gonna get hyped when a guy who's supposed to be a diamond in the rough starts making fans like Habs do

ngl cant believe some of our fans are thinking hes already a top-6 guy tho man, haven't even seen him play yet

i dont think its too far, tbh fans get hyped for one good signee and then forget about actual roster issues like our D man depth or lack thereof @CanadiensLoyal

yeah exactly, thats the real issue imo - still gotta sort out our dman situation before we get all hyped about some prospect signing @section7mtl

tbh i think we're putting too much stock in one signing, gotta remember we still need a legit dman presence or were gonna be in big trouble come opening night @Canadiens9 honestly the depth issues at d have been bothering me for ages now

tbh i think the konyushkov signing is just a small part of the bigger picture, still waiting for that legit dman addition to really get excited about our team's future @section7mtl honestly agree w/ you on putting too much stock in one move though
