I don't think this ranking necessarily translates to playoff success or failure, but it does indicate a need for improvement in terms of pace and pressure on the forecheck.

What are everyone's thoughts on this? Do you buy into the notion that we were too passive last season?

I think that's a fair point, @RedWingRusty. We all remember how that aggressive style was key to our '96 and '98 runs, but we also know you can win with system play and patience. I'm not sure how much it directly correlates to playoff success.

AGREED! we cant just rely on system play to get us wins. need that aggressive speed and skill to make a deeper run

ngl we cant just expect our top lines to carry us deep in the playoffs, need some depth and speed from those lower 6 guys too man
