Daley's Big Night Approaching Fast

The Red Wings are getting ready for a big evening as Tomislav Daley suits up for his 1000th NHL game against the Leafs. His on-ice presence is always a plus, but let's be real, he's not getting any younger and this milestone will likely come with some extra attention from Toronto.

@WingNutWendy just about says it all, but GriffinsGabe's right too - Daley still brings it on D and his leadership is the real deal! And who cares if he's not 25 anymore, we've got guys making their NHL debut that can't hold a candle to #8.

Reminds me of Terry Sawchuk's milestone game against Boston back in '63. Who cares about age when a player's got heart? Kid Daley still brings it on D, and that leadership is what this team needs right now, not some fancy stats from last season.
