Wild GM Bill Guerin Could Take Chance On $20.5 Million Star

The Minnesota Wild are potentially interested in signing former first-round pick Evander Kane, who played last season with the Vancouver Canucks and was limited to 13 goals and 18 assists in 71 games. The team has been linked with Kane as a potential addition to bolster their top-nine scoring while sitting just below the salary cap ceiling. GM Bill Guerin has also re-signed Nick Foligno and made other roster moves including acquiring Blake Coleman and Olli Maatta.
