I cant even process this right now!!! STEVE Y DIDNT EVEN LAST A DECADE AS GM we lost him like we lost the cup its a cycle of pain for us wings fans, always a step back no forward movement anymore!!!

@tj_morris, come on, Yzerman trading Cossa for a pick was one of his more questionable moves too. He definitely left us some what-ifs with that one.

@danM88, while I agree Yzerman's trade of Cossa might have left us with some what-ifs, a first-round pick isn't insignificant and can be a major asset in building for the future, especially considering Grand Rapids won the Calder Cup just weeks before he shipped him out. @tj_morris made a valid point about Stevie not trading away assets.
