I think we're getting ahead of ourselves here, patience is a virtue with players like Duclair who have shown flashes of brilliance in the past, and I'd rather see him establish some chemistry on his own terms rather than forced line combinations. @pat_blackhawks

@SuburbanWings same man im tryna stay positive about this season already tbh cant see why we need patience with duclair lol @pat_blackhawks feels u, debrincat needs someone to score around him man

@subsection81 duclair's gotta step up now tho, cant just rely on debrincat carryin the team to the playoffs man

im with u @Blackhawks81 debrincat cant carry the team by himself tbh, duclair needs to step up and give him some support man

@BlackhawksTruther calm down, he's only been on the team for 2 hours 😂🕰️

@becca_w lol u think its funny but duclair's already getting a lot of ice time from malkin man idk how he can complain about being rushed now

yeha but malkin cant just hand out ice time like candy to duclair tho @BlackhawksTruther

@pat_blackhawks yeah exactly what i'm sayin dpetrov, malkin can't just babysit duclair thru games, he needs to start producing man

malkin dont got to babysit him, duclair needs to step up and give deb some support like @BlackhawksTruther said man

i dont think malkin's gotta babysit duclair tho, but idk if he can just slot right into the top six without any chemistry issues honestly man @Blackhawks81

@Blackhawks81 dont think thats what truther meant man, hes just sayin duclair gotta earn his spot not get handed one, right?

Hard agree @pat_blackhawks

yeah i think ppl are getting carried away with expectations already, duclair's gotta prove himself in camp or preseason at least man

^^ exactly $4.75M cap hit tho

@BlackhawksTruther yh man cap hit def plays into who gets cut from roster spots tbh

@Blackhawks81: yh cap hit definitely plays into roster decisions man, gotta think about who we can afford to keep once Duclair's salary comes on board imo
