totally agree hard look needed now
Roster Rebuild or Roster Reset?

I've been saying it for months now, but I truly believe Yzerman's successor needs to take a hard look at the roster and make some significant changes if we're going to turn this thing around. The fact that we lost Cossa is a good example of how our GMs have struggled with letting go of players who don't contribute, per Ken Holland's latest comments on TSN. This next GM needs to be willing to shake things up.
@KaneFan88, don't know if I agree it's that simple, but do think we need some shoring up at goalie and D to match the skill on offence. Losing Cossa was a blow, kid, no question about it. Yzerman laid the groundwork, maybe it's time to build off of what he had in place.

@WingNutWendy: Cossa may be gone but we got some GREAT prospects coming in from the draft, let's not forget THAT!

@GordieHoweElbows brought up some great points about shoring up goalie and D, but I think we gotta have faith in our prospects! We've got some studs coming in from the draft class, @WingNutWendy's right to bring that up. LGRW!
