According to multiple sources close to the situation, Chris Ilitch is indeed considering Jeffrey Greenberg from the Tigers as a potential replacement for Steve Yzerman per Jeff Passan (ESPN) and Helene St. James (Detroit Free Press). Not sure what kind of NHL experience he brings, but MLB isn't the same animal - will be interesting to see if this one pans out.
