Seattle Totems Fixture Jim Powers Dies At 89

Jim Powers, a two-time Western Hockey League minor professional champion, played 737 regular season games between 1957 and 1970 for teams including the Seattle Totems, Vancouver Canucks, and Los Angeles Blades. He scored 248 goals and added 223 assists for 471 points, with additional stats in 18 playoff games. Powers died at age 89 from natural causes.
