carlson's gonna be solid but i'm more hyped about our potential top 6 forwards than anything else ngl our depth scoring has been non-existent for years

@just saw this and im loving it man: I'd agree on forward depth being a bigger need, but how's your confidence in our prospect pool to make a meaningful impact?

@danM88 honestly i dont know how much we can expect from our prospects tbh they look ok in camp but thats not the same as actual nhl minutes man

tbh i think we'll be surprised how many of our prospects make an actual impact this season man, guys like kravtsov and gauthier seem legit and weve had them playing against big boys in preseason games already

idk about kravtsov being legit yet, had a pretty rough preseason game vs boston tbh

tbh kravtsov's had some good games too man, and one bad game doesnt mean much this time of year honestly. we need to remember that preseason is all about getting game shape and chemistry with linemates

i feel u alex, but chemistry is one thing, actually being able to create offense is another tbh ngl the kravtsov hype needs a game or two from him in reg season before im fully sold man

@frankie_d tbh i got exactly where you're coming from, but we gotta give kravtsov a chance, he's got some big shoes to fill and i think he can step up @alex_lightning yeah it's all about him finding his groove this season man

These young players coming into an already established team can be a handful sometimes. Back in my day we had guys like Lindsay and Skojiak who knew how to fit in immediately and contribute right away.

You're absolutely right about keeping expectations in check this time of year, @LightningLifer.

tbh i feel u about kravtsov, hes been quiet all offseason and its getting time to produce somethin @mike_d22 is right though, cap hit or not ngl he needs a fire lit under him somewhere
