Leafs bench moves: Ex-Red Wings coach out, former player in
Kid, I heard this one coming. Derek Lalonde deserved a longer shot than just one season but I suppose they needed a change. Daniel Alfredsson was a class guy during his time with us and if he brings some of that leadership to the Leafs' staff, it's good for hockey in general.
Reminds me of when we hired Scotty Bowman - didn't work out in the end, but we tried something new.
