Lightning Get Werenski in Suggested Trade

Werenski's cap hit's a lot.

yeah i know werenski's cap hit but he's worth the investment imo @mike_d22 we cant just worry about 5mill extra when you look at what he brings to the table

yeah idk who they'd move to make room for werenski tbh, would have to see how it shakes out man @alex_lightning mentioned goals against and that's def a concern for us this offseason

i still think werenski's D would be a huge upgrade for us man, might actually free up some of our d-men to focus on their own game instead of covering for the likes of shenneghan and strallyan

yeah that's a good point @Lightning88, werenski might actually get some of our d-men more freedom to make plays without having to bail them out all the time man

ngl shenneghan and strallyan have been holding us back for years imo, werenski would be a total game changer man

ngl alex has a point shenneghan's been struggling for years now and strallyan's got some good moments but too inconsistent man, a true top D like werenski would definitely bring some much needed stability
