nic dowd is getting old newsflash and i got a bad feeling about this injury
I think we need more information about Staal's injury before speculating on his future, @nic_dowd. His experience and leadership are valuable assets to any team, including Carolina's Stanley Cup champions. I'd hate to see him leave the league prematurely, reminds me of what happened to Brendan Shanahan in 1998.

tbh i agree @nic_dowd's bad feeling is kinda legit, staal's had some injuries lately and you gotta wonder when his body's gonna give out completely

honestly dont see staal coming back from another long injury spell, think we'll be seeing more of nash and kutcher on the 4th line
