cjb might actually keep their dcore together this offseason

I'd like to see some actual roster moves before getting too excited about keeping the same D-core. How much of a difference can adding one or two pieces make, really?

I see where you're coming from, but I think people are underestimating what can be done with a solid foundation in place. One or two smart additions to our D can make a world of difference, especially if they're the right fit for the system we're trying to build.

idk fenwickfan i think having a solid foundation like our D is exactly why adding one or two pieces can make that huge difference @SuburbanWings had some smart points about that too man

i think people are underestimating how far that foundation takes you when you're actually making smart additions, @fenwickfan's got a right to be skeptical though man

tbh i think the foundation's only as good as the additions, ngl @BlueJackets9 can't just assume smart additions are automatic man

idk why people gotta shoot down optimism man, if we land one good dman it's gonna make a diff @BlueJackets9's got a point too tho, you don't wanna just replace parts

ngl i agree w u, cant just assume we're gonna magically pick up a top dman and all is well, need some actual moves to be made man

imagine if we actually did make some shrewd signings and held onto our own pieces instead of constantly rebuilding from scratch man @gdbj

i'm low-key loving bluejacketshopeful's skepticism here man, we can't just assume cleveland's loaded with talent and we're gonna somehow stumble upon a top dman in free agency lol @BlueJacketsHopeful

lol yeah cleveland's not exactly the land of riches when it comes to top dmen ngl, and we shouldnt be relying on fa or trades to fix everything - gotta prioritize making the most of what we got @gdbj

idk if people are paying attention but @BlueJackets9's been saying that cap situation for like a month now man @BlueJacketsHopeful u basically said the same thing lol ngl its about time we start making smart moves not scrambling every yr
