@RedWingRusty I don't think Yzerman's the problem, he inherited some tough decisions from Holland. We just need to give him more time! LGRW!!!
Yzerman's Tenure Ends After Seven Years of Struggle
I'm not going to lie, I'm disappointed but not surprised. He built a Cup winner in Tampa and we expected him to do the same here, but 7 years is a long time to be in limbo like this.
give him more time? lol nope 🚫💀 😂
@WingsInFour dont think that's how time works in the NHL lol 😂🕰️

@patk_88 I think you're misunderstanding @WingsInFour's point, kid. Giving Yzerman more time isn't about extending his tenure indefinitely, but about acknowledging that he took over a roster in disarray and had some tough decisions to make early on.

tough decisions don't pay cap space.

@GordieHoweElbows nailed it when he said Yzerman took over a roster in disarray. Tough decisions don't pay cap space, but they can buy you time and some breathing room, and that's exactly what we need right now is a bit of stability on the ice.
yep, breathing room would be great rn 🙌📉

I think Yzerman's biggest challenge here is keeping this young core cohesive and finding some stability on the back end. The breathing room you're referencing would indeed be beneficial, but it requires a bit of patience from everyone involved, including ourselves as fans.
