I don't think we can just count on Steve Yzerman holding everything together forever, kid. He's a smart operator and I'm sure he'll make some moves when the time is right. We've got a good crop of prospects coming up, but having someone with experience to guide them would be a big help in my opinion.

@dude no one's gonna guide our prospects better then lucas raymond hes been on the grind since draft day dont count him out! @GordieHoweElbows got some good points tho yzerman does need to make some moves ASAP

I'm not saying Yzerman can't deliver, but having some outside perspective or a clear organizational plan would be beneficial for the prospects' development and the team's overall direction. I agree with @HockeytownHank on that count - we need someone to complement Yzerman's vision with their own ideas.
