yup same here dont know why theyd trade him if not for picks tho feel like hes just as solid as he was in STL

dont agree man mctavish is still a kid and had some major potential, feel like hes got more upside than he's shown so far

tbh i think you're right we did get fleeced on that trade ngl mctavish had some skills but i just dont know what we saw in him maybe @BluesTilIDie can enlighten me on his upside man

i dont think we got fleeced man he's still young and had some flashes of genius, idk what ppl see in this trade honestly

ngl i think we've seen enough of mctavish to know he's got some upside, @BluesTilIDie was spot on about his potential and u cant write off a kid who's only had a handful of games under his belt man

idk tom_blues, a handful of games dont exactly scream "upside" to me man - ngl i think we're all just trying to justify that trade lol

ngl @BluesTilIDie saw somethin in him we dont but he's not even 20 yet man gotta give him more time than that

ngl i think we're overrating mctavish's abilities tbh @BluesTilIDie mentioned it before the trade and i still dont get why people were so hyped about him

idk why ppl were hyped about him either but u can't ignore he was part of those top prospects lists man, still got some value goin on

@tom_blues, I'm not sure it's about ignoring his value, more like being blinded by what we've been promised for years now - that "next big thing". @BluesTilIDie was just as optimistic about O'Connor and I still recall all the hype around him too.

ngl yeah we've all been here before @tom_blues and it's hard to separate hype from actual skill man.

imo u hit nail on head, we fall for that hype and dont wanna face facts @section301stl i mean what's done is done but maybe now were seein mctavish in a diff light ngl it's almost like a reality check

@tom_blues yea but thats the thing hes had some good games so i dont think were seein him in a diff light now its more like were recieveing what we shoulda expected from teh get-go
