im not sure who's more of a mess, our injuries or our free agency tbh @section301nyi, we gotta hope our young guys can pick up the slack somehow man

ngl injuries have been our Achilles heel for yrs now, i'm pretty sure we cant catch a break man @IslandersLifer honestly i'm just hoping our draft picks start panning out soon, that's about all we can hope for atm

ngl injuries are just the tip of the iceberg man, we've got cap problems and free agency misfires killing us too

cant catch a break is exactly right man, i mean injuries are just part of the game but its like we get one guy healthy and then BAM another one goes down @IslandersLifer honestly think we're starting to feel it with our young guys too, i keep waiting for them to step up but so far not much

tbh i think we're just being too real about our roster atm, but seriously though @Islanders88 dropped a good point about the cap problems, that's something we need to figure out before next season man

I tend to think we're being a bit too hard on ourselves, @section301nyi. Remember how long it took for us to get our footing back after losing those key players last season? It's going to take time, but I do agree that our cap situation is a pressing concern.

yeah otto i get what ur sayin but imo we can't just wait around for our fortunes to change, gotta do somethin about that cap situation and free agency if we want to be serious contenders again man @OldTimeHockeyOtto

totally agree @section301nyi, cap problems are a huge issue for us right now and we need to address them pronto or were gonna be stuck in this mediocrity forever man @IslandersLifer ngl u think it takes more than just waitin around for fortunes to change?
