The Montreal Canadiens are reportedly interested in acquiring a notable right-handed defenseman from an Eastern Conference rival. According to NHL Insider Anthony Di Marco, the team was linked to Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and former Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Brandon Carlo at the trade deadline. Ristolainen remains with the Flyers, while Carlo was traded to the St. Louis Blues during the offseason.

idk if anthony di marco is that reliable anymore, felt like most of his scoops this offseason have been kinda meh ngl.
