According to NHL Insider Anthony Di Marco, the team was linked to Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Rasmus Ristolainen and former Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Brandon Carlo at the trade deadline. Ristolainen remains with the Flyers, while Carlo was traded to the St. Louis Blues during the offseason.
