ngl i think you're being way too harsh on them about cossa tbh, he did get traded away and the guy is still a prospect even after winning the calder cup

@Islanders88 I think we're all forgetting one thing here - Detroit's cap situation was a mess coming out of the last season and they had to make some tough decisions. Trading away draft picks for salary relief isn't that uncommon in today's game, but @steve_islanders makes a point about Cossa being "robbed".

totally man cossa's a solid goalie and got traded for nothing, detroit definitely did something wrong there lol ngl even if the islanders arent looking for goalie help right now (which tbh we probably need) i still think cossa would be a great pick up

@cossa wouldve been a great pick-me-up for the islanders right now imo lol, but who knows maybe they gettin a better deal next yr and can use that as motivation or somethin

yeah imo its weird talkin about this now too but cant help thinkin they shouldve held onto cossa, still dont know what they saw in that trade @steve_islanders lol would've been awesome for him to be our goalie last season man
