FORWARD RETURNS HOME??

I don't think there's anything official about this player returning to Detroit yet, just speculation from rumors like usual. We've seen guys leave and return before.

Kid, don't go jumping to conclusions just yet. I'm inclined to agree with @RedWingRusty that there's no smoke from Ilitch or Steve Yzerman about this player coming back. We'll see what shakes out of free agency first.

Kid, I think you're being too quick to dismiss the return of this guy. Per Sportsnet, they've got sources saying a deal could be done soon. @RedWingRusty's caution is warranted, but a lot can change in free agency, and some big names might not fit into their plans.
