laine's d-zone play has been a major concern for me too man, but he's still an elite goal-scorer ngl @Islanders88 seems to think hes got some juice left and i kinda agree with him tbh

he's elite at scoring but thats not enough imo, we need guys who can play d properly or else we get burned like last season man

i think thats a fair point, but at this stage of his career its kinda hard to expect him to start playing d properly man - seems like we're expecting him to be some sort of shutdown specialist @Islanders88

honestly, thats easier said than done man, most guys cant just switch up their game like that ngl, laine's got a rep as a goal-scorer and its hard for him to change his identity @IslandersLifer
